Isreali tourist attempts suicide at a resort in Karnataka's Hampi

The tourist, Daniel, was rescued by locals at Veerapapura Gadde, in Koppal's Gangavathi taluk, after he cried for medical help.

KOPPAL: A 26-year-old tourist from Israel attempted suicide by cutting his wrist, at Veerapapura Gadde, in Gangavathi taluk, Koppal district on Monday. The tourist, Daniel, was rescued by locals after he cried for medical help.
 
Daniel was visiting the nearby tourist locations and was living in a resort at Hampi with his female friend. He has been admitted to government hospital in Gangavati. 
 
It is said that Daniel had a fight with his friend Ana few days ago, following which she had stopped talking to him. This is suspected to have caused his suicide bid. Gangavati police reached the spot.
