BENGALURU: Anguished by the pain of an elderly man who had turned up at the Janata Darshan on Wednesday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah handed over all the money in his pocket. Siddaramaiah, who met around 100 people at his residence on Wednesday morning, was moved by the pain experienced by a 70-year-old man who had travelled to the city to meet him.

The man who had suffered a severe allergy on his legs had trouble walking and told the CM that he had been seeking ayurvedic treatment, but to no avail. He had also come to the city to meet the Siddaramaiah last Saturday, but could not do as the CM was pressed for time. Moved by his plight, Siddaramaiah gave him all the money from his pocket amounting to Rs 7,500 and advised him that health was the most important thing and should not be neglected.
