BENGALURU: Almost a month after the state government published the fee regulation for private schools in the state, the private school managements have raised objection over the same. The Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka convened a meeting with its members in
Bengaluru on Tuesday.

As per the fee regulation issued by the state department of primary and secondary education, apart from recurring costs, the additional fee that can be sought by a school differs with each location which ranges from 70% in gram panchayat and town panchayat limits, to about 100% in BBMP areas. “The difference of cost may be only in land and all other factors remain the same,” the association said this in its communication to media. The association has urged the  department officials to hold a meet with them in this regard.
