BENGALURU: Even before the dust could settle after the state Assembly election, BJP has started preparations for the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Youth wing of the party has chalked out a state-wide bike rally to kick start the mass contact programme from June 15.
The decision to start preparations well ahead of the battle was taken at the BJP Yuva Morcha executive meeting held recently in Bengaluru. Party state president B S Yeddyurappa, who chaired the meeting, has instructed the morcha to enter into poll mode immediately.
Yuva Morcha activists are set to hit the road with a state-wide bike rally. The rally will cover all the 224 Assembly constituencies. The participants in the rally should reach out to people in rural areas to spread awareness about welfare programmes like Jan Dhan and Mudra Loan launched by the Modi government, Yeddyurappa said.
