THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A team of Central Bureau of Investigation officials, which is probing the Abhaya case, has taken the statement of officials of the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (CDIT) here on Monday.
The statements of three officials of the video production wing of CDIT were being taken by the CBI team led by DySP Nandakumar Nair. The questioning which began at noon continued till late in the evening.
CDIT had earlier given a report to the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Ernakulam stating that there were manipulations in the CDs of the narco-analysis tests conducted on the accused at the Forensic Science Lab in Bangalore. Based on this the CBI team took the statements of the CDIT officials.
