ALUVA: Actor Mohanlal was presented with a replica of the massive embossing artwork on glass with 13 dancing figures of Lord Vinayaka, at a function held here on Saturday.
Union Minister K V Thomas and actress Kaviyoor Ponnamma presented the replica of the 15footlong glass embossing artwork at Healing Galaxy at Thottakkattukara here.
The embossing work, aimed at spreading the message of peace, was done by artiste Javan Chacko and his entourage on the instruction of Mohanlal. It took two years and 10 months to complete the world's biggest single glass embossing artwork without using machine and brush.
Mohanlal presented mementos to Jayan, Sinish, Sanu, Ajeesha, Kumari Surendran, Sandhya and Dinesan who assisted artiste Javan Chacko and his wife Reena to complete the work.
