A 52-year-old man, who had earlier undergone life term for murdering his first wife, was convicted again to life imprisonment for murdering his second wife. The Thiruvananthapuram Fast Track Court on Friday awarded the life term to Soman of Edava. The court also ordered that the convict should not be given parole for 17 years. The court said that capital punishment was not awarded taking into account his age. He had murdered his second wife Sara Beevi of Kottur on January 31, 2010 after he was released from the Nettukaltheri open jail.
