Sabu, alias Eeaty Sabu, 41, of Machiplavu in Adimali, was arrested by the police in connection with various cases of theft and chain snatching in the state. He was nabbed while trying to burgle the house of Poulose in Adimali on Sunday night.
Sabu, who was living in a rented house in Kelakam, Kannur, was involved in chain snatching and burglary. He was involved in over 15 cases and was evading arrest.
There are cases pending against him in Iritty, Mattanur, Karikottakari, Aralam, Theravoor and Idukki.
