KOZHIKODE: The registration for the online aptitude test which would be conducted by the State Institute of Educational Technology(SIET) would be opened for all the students of the state from April 11.
The online aptitude test would help the students choose their career and higher studies.
The test would scientifically find out the interest and taste of the students and suggest which all higher educational options are suitable for them.
Students can access the test on the website www.sietkerala.gov.in. The test would
have categories including mechanical reasoning, space relations, verbal reasoning, numerical ability, language usage, vocabulary tests, speed and accuracy tests. “The main thrust areas of the test would be the aptitude, interest and personality of the students. This is a method that has been internationally applied in the education sector for providing students a heads up in their career and higher education path,” said Babu Sebastian, director of the SIET.
The students who take part in the test would receive the results in their e-mail
within three days of giving the test.
The one-and-a-half hour long test can be accessed in English and Malayalam languages and can be attempted by students from 8th standard to degree level. The last date for the registration for the test is April 20 and the fee for the registration for each student is `100.
