A 35-year-old house wife was found dead in the hall room of a rented house at Kanakkode near Vattapara, where she was living with her family.
The deceased was identified as Sherly John, wife of Eldo. According to the police, Sherly, her husband and two girls were living for rent in the locality.
Sherly’s death was reported to the police on Saturday morning by Eldo. Police said that the family belongs to Pentecost denomination.
On Friday, Sherly complained of low blood pressure but declined to take medication. She instead sticked on with prayers. The police also said that both the husband and the wife were mentally disturbed.Meanwhile, the police ruled out chances of suicide and said that the preliminary examination suggest that it was a case of murder. Unconfirmed reports are also spreading that police have taken Eldo into custody, suspecting his involvement in the murder.
