The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader and MP E T Mohammed Basheer has said that the criticism of the Nair Service Society (NSS) against the Education Department and the IUML was not genuine. He was speaking to reporters after the state council meeting of the party in Kozhikode on Sunday.
“As a democratic party, we are ready to accept constructive criticism about the party and the portfolios maintained. The party is also ready to rectify mistakes if any. However, we could not tolerate allegations that are only meant to target the party. The allegations of NSS are not genuine,” Basheer said.
