Express scribe tops PG exam

 Greeshma R Prasad, sub-editor with The New Indian Express, Thiruvananthapuram, has topped the PG Diploma in Journalism examination conducted by the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.

 The results were published on Tuesday.

 Greeshma won the Krishnamohan memorial gold medal, instituted by Mathrubhumi, for getting the highest marks in the examination and the K M Cherian memorial gold medal for editing, instituted by Malayala Manorama, for the PG Diploma course offered by the Press Club, Thiruvananthapuram.

She also won the cash award instituted in the memory of noted journalist N Kesavan Nair for the highest aggregate marks in reporting and editing.

 Greeshma joined Express in 2010 and hails from Kalady, Thiruvananthapuram.
