Ending the disappearing act that lasted for weeks together, former Idukki CPM secretary M M Mani finally appeared before the Special Investigating Team (SIT) at Thodupuzha on Wednesday for q u e s - t ioning in connection with his controversial speech.
The SIT interrogated him for nearly five hours.
Mani had courted controversy after he spoke at Manakkad on May 25 revealing that the party had eliminated its rivals after preparing a list.
Mani answered nearly 200 questions posed by the Special Investigating Team at the DySP office, according to IG K Padmakumar.
“Mani has agreed to appear before the SIT whenever required,” he said.
