BJP leader O Rajagopal said that Defence Minister A K Antony should advise Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on ensuring communal justice, referring to Antony’s speech recently that for communal harmony, communal justice should be maintained. Inaugurating the BJP zonal meeting here on Sunday, he said the UDF government has sabotaged the communal harmony existing in the state by supporting just one community.
He alleged that for protecting the interest of organised minority, the larger interest of the majority has been sidelined. He said that Oommen Chandy was bowing down to the pressure tactics of the minority community and the mood of the people was evident in the election result of Neyyatinkara.BJP district president Karamana Jayan presided over the function in which state secretaries C Shivankutty, J R Padmakumar, district general secretaries S Suresh, Venganoor Satheesh and national executive member M S Kumar among others participated.
