South-west monsoonhas been weak over Kerala. Rain occurred at a few places inKerala. Very light rain occurred in Lakshadweep.
According to meteorology sources here, the chiefamounts of rainfall reports in cm are Vadakara 3, Thodupuzhaand Thaliparamba 2 each. Kannur, Ambalavayal, Mananthavady,Vaithri, Kodungallur and Kudulu 1 each.
Forecast valid until the morning of July 17, rain orthunder showers will occur at a few places in Kerala andLakshadweep, outlook no significant change.
Fishermen warning: Strong onshore winds fromNorth-westernly direction speed occasionally reaching 45-55KMPH is likely along and off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweeparea during next 24 hours.
