Praising CPM leader M M Mani for his contribution to the benefit of the labour class, SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan on Sunday said that the CPM leader had no role in any controversy. Natesan told reporters here that he was hoping to see Mani free from all legal tangles in which he had fallen in the wake of his speech.
Natesan said that Idukki was a place where the landlords committed atrocities on the workers and Mani had played significant role in their emancipation.
