The Ramayana month celebrations began at various temples in Aluva. As part of the celebrations, Moothekunnam Sree Narayana Mangalam Temple had Mahaganapathy homam and Lalitha Saharsa Namarchana Bhagathy Seva. Ramarayam Parayanam was also held.
Paravur Dhakshina Mookambika Saraswathi Temple had special poojas including Ethiratha pooja. Vidyarambham will be conducted every day during this month. Panthiradi pooja, Ucha pooja, Deeparadhana, Athazha pooja and Siveli were also held.
Kottuvallikavu Alungal Sree Bhadrakali Temple had special poojas along with Nirmalyam, Ganapathy havanam, Ucha pooja, Panthiradi Pooja, Deeparadhana, Bhagavathy Seva and Athazha pooja. Ramayana Parayanam was also held. In Paravur Kannankulangara Sree Krishna Swami Temple, special poojas were organised in connection with the Ramayana month.
