‘SNDP firm on ties with NSS’

The SNDP on Wednesday reaffirmed its resolve to continue working on cementing ties with the NSS for forming a stronger federation.

There are moves to sabotage the efforts to establish better ties between the two organisations, but they will not succeed, said SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan while inaugurating the Yogam’s welfare programmes at Thodupuzha on Wednesday.  Vellappally asked why the minority communities were fuming over the increasing closeness between the SNDP and the NSS.

“It is a matter of concern that the members of the community in all the parties are engaged in a fierce battle. This has to change,” he said. He said that the problems began with the Congress bowing to the IUML’s demand for the fifth ministerial berth.

He performed ‘Thulabharam’ offering at the Subramaniam temple here on Wednesday.
