Idaparambil Prabhakaran, 42, a quarry worker, was arrested on charges of raping a minor girl. He was produced before the Judicial First Class Magistrate court which remanded him.
Prabhakaran, residing in a rented house at Apsarapadi in Adimali town, was arrested from Pulikkal in Malappuram. Prabhakaran is married and has two daughters. The incident occurred when his wife was away, the police said.
