Deleepkumar, 31, son of Parameswara Kaimal, Kattuparambil house Muthukulam North, and a member of the security platoon of the outgoing President Prathibha Patil, died while attending a parade at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, the other day.
He was a member of the Madras Regiment. Deleepkumar had also worked with the platoon for the last two years on deputation, his family members said.
The cremation was held on his house premises on Friday. He is survived by mother Leelamma, wife Sreepriya and daughter Devipriya.
