Police have registered a case against a CPI(M) MLAand a district party leader for allegedly obstructing police officials fromperforming their duty during a party march to the police station at nearbyPayyannoor.
The cases were registered yesterday against MLA T V Rajeshand Kannur District CPI(M) Secretary, P Jayarajan and over 200 party activists,they said.
CPI(M) activists had marched to the police stationprotesting against police 'atrocities' on CPI(M) activists.
