The Judicial First Class Magistrate court here has issued arrest warrants to four of the accused in the Shukkoor murder case who were absconding. Syamjith, son of CPM state secretariat member M V Govindan, Ajayakumar of Keezhara, Naduvila Purayil Naveen, and Prakasan were the four accused against whom the court issued warrants.
The case is to be committed to the Sessions court Thalassery. CPM district secretary P Jayarajan and DYFI state secretary T V Rajesh MLA were among those accused in the Shukkoor murder case. The chargesheet in the case was filed in the court on August 23 by U Preman, CI of police, Valapattanam.
