The haj pilgrimage of persons registered with the State Haj Committee (SHC) will begin on September 25.
Saudi Airlines will ferry the pilgrims from Kerala. SHC announced the detailed flight schedule on Thursday. The committee will prepare the seat allotment of pilgrims within two days. Saudi Airlines would operate a total of 29 haj flights from Karippur airport for the pilgrims from the state and union territories, Mahe and Lakshadweep. Two flights with a seating capacity of 300 would be operated each day. The last flight from the airport will leave for Jeddah on October 9.
