On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, the medical wing of Brahma Kumaris launched ‘My Kerala: Addiction- free Kerala’ project here on Wednesday. The project is part of the nationwide deaddiction campaign initiated by the Brahma Kumaris. Ernakulam Excise Special Squad Circle Inspector K K Anil Kumar inaugurated the project here. He said the world has been successful in wiping out deadly infectious diseases like plague, small pox and tuberculosis, but drugs and liquor have replaced these diseases. He expressed his delight that international organisations like Brahma Kumaris have taken up the issue. ENS
