First AID training camp

A First Aid-Trauma Care Training camp organised by Al-Ameen College, Aluva, for the Railway staff and the autorickshaw drivers in the town, was inaugurated by Aluva Railway station manager C Balakrishnan on Saturday.

The training aims to help the passengers in emergency. A number of cases have been reported as irretrievable by the medicos as the victims were not given first aid before taking to hospitals. There were many cases in which the victims could have been brought back to life if they were given the necessary preliminary medical aid.College principal K M Adbul Kareem presided over the function.
