The fourth state conference of the Employees Confederation of the Travancore Devaswom Board will be held on October 22 and 23. CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the conference on Tuesday at Gandhi Park.
CPM district secretary Kadakampally Surendran, TDB president M P Govindan Nair and former president M Rajagopalan Nair will attend the inaugural session.
Conference reception committee chairman V Sivankutty MLA told a press conference that the summit is being organised against the backdrop of various actions of the government to ruin the autonomy of TDB.
