Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has said that the Opposition’s demand for the resignation of the Chief Minister has become more relevant in the wake of the solar scam complainant Sreedharan Nair’s statement reiterating the Chief Minister’s role in the scam.
He told mediapersons here on Tuesday that it has become very clear that the Chief Minister had connived with fraudster Saritha S Nair. But he has been trying to destroy evidence. Achuthanandan said that in view of Sreedharan Nair’s statement, he will continue to wage the legal battle against the Chief Minister.
CPI state secretary Pannian Raveendran also said that as Sreedharan Nair’s statement is out, it is clear that Chief Minister is involved in Solar scam, the CM has no right to continue in power for a moment. He said that the LDF’s earlier claim about the CM’s role has become more clear.
