KOLLAM: Actor Suresh Gopi said that nowadays people are not concerned about environment and even the Chief Minister is talking about setting up airports everywhere. He made these remarks while speaking during the inauguration of the third phase of ‘Akshara Yatra’ in Kollam on Saturday.
“If a person doesn’t know about the implications of such projects then he should consult people with knowledge,” Suresh Gopi said, referring to the alleged support of UDF Government to the controversial Aranmula airport project.
Recalling his involvement in the protest against computers as a member of SFI, he said that CPM was right on the impact of computers on people’s lives. He said that computers and availability of uncensored information affected people’s discipline.
