E-bidding Platform Makes Building Contracts Easier

KOCHI: In this digital era, it is not the government alone that can invite tenders, but even the common man can seek bids for constructing houses.

Are you planning to build your dream-home, and looking for a contractor? Then, logon to, post your requirement, and get quotes online. Then, select the contractor who fits your project. Anyone can use the website for finding contractors and workers for any kind of construction work.

 “It is the brainchild of a group of young civil engineers, who were classmates. It is an e-platform to bring project-owners in the construction sector - may it be civil work, design work, painting or tile work - and service providers such as builders, developers, skilled labourers and painters under one roof. The initiative is aimed at bridging the gap between project-owners and contractors/workers,” said Nikihil Hareendran, chief executive officer of The portal was founded by Abhijith M V (executive director), Krishnadas C M (CTO) and Santhosh P V (COO).  “An individual or a service provider can register on the website free of cost. We do not charge any fee for the services provided through the site,” he said.

The project-owners post their requirements on the website, on the basis of which contractors place bids. Then, the project-owners can choose the contractor who has offered the best quote.

This platform provides an opportunity to project-owners to choose from a wide range of bids placed by the contractors on the basis of their work profile and the reviews about the works they have done.

The service also allows the project-owners to easily search and filter to reach out to the service providers, depending on their priority, such as  price, work experience and the projects completed,” Nikhil added.
