KOCHI: BJP state secretary A N Radhakrishnan has said that no official recommendation had been sent out yet by the government of Kerala for establishing the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Kerala.

The statement came following his talks with Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan after the BJP National Council meeting.

Radhakrishnan quoted the minister as saying that many political representatives had approached him requesting that the AIIMS be set up at their place, but no official request of recommendation had gone out from the government’s side.
