KOZHIKODE :Hundreds of people from various walks of life paid their last respects to Odessa Sathyan. The mortal remains were cremated on the premises of his residence at Narayanan Nagar near Vadakara around 5.30 pm. Mullappally Ramachandran MP, C K Nanu MLA, E K Vijayan, former MLA M K Premnath, Vadakara municipal chairperson P P Ranjini, vice-chairman K P Balan, CPM leader K T Kunhikannan, RMP leader K K Rema, poets K C Umesh Babu and Kalpetta Narayanan, writer Akbar Kakkattil, Koyilandy municipal chairperson P K Santha, film director Suveeran, theatre director Manoj Narayanan, among others, paid last respects to Sathyan when the body was placed at the Town Hall. Former Naxal leader Grow Vasu paid homage at Sathyan’s residence.
