THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Cabinet on Wednesday ratified the Government Order issued regarding the new liquor policy of the government. The decision on all other aspects in this regard including the liquor licence for clubs, functioning of beer and wine parlours would be taken at the next Cabinet meeting, said the CM. At the post-cabinet press briefing, Chandy said the Government Order was issued by the Chief minister based on the decision taken at the UDF meeting. “The order regarding the liquor policy has been ratified. There is still scope for further discussions and decisions have to be taken. A final decision would be taken at the next Cabinet meet,” CM said.
