THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday said that its application to shift from the government-owned plot at Kapurthala, New Delhi, into the commercial zone was moved after the Corporation of Delhi had recommended to the state to do on the developmental angle. The Kapurthala plot is currently located at the Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone where strict norms are in force which limits development opportunities. Only buildings up to three-storeys can only be built in the zone. To overcome the limitation, Corp authorities had advised the CMO to shift from the plot to the commercial zone, it said.
