ARANMULA: Aranmula water festival will soon be included in the Limca Book of Records. It will feature in the next edition of the records book as the country’s biggest water festival. The suggestion was made by a devotee from Othera, near Tiruvalla.The river fest is conducted as part of the Vallasadya at Sree Parthasarathy Temple here.
The congregation of 51 traditional snake boats (known as Palliyodams) is the main attraction of the festival.
Palliyoda Seva Sangham president K G Sasidharan Pillai said they will take proper steps for including the water festival in the records book.
