PM Fails to Open Sree Narayana Guru College College Building

Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not inaugurate the new building of the Sree Narayana Guru College of Legal Studies as per the schedule.

KOLLAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not inaugurate the new building of the Sree Narayana Guru College of Legal Studies as per the schedule owing to paucity of time on Tuesday.  The Prime Minister arrived at the college to unveil the statue of former Chief Minister R Sankar around 30 minutes late than the scheduled time. The function attended by the PM began with Thushar Vellapally, assistant secretary, Sree Narayana Trusts, delivering the welcome address.  NDP Yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan delivered keynote address at the function. The presidential address was not delivered by anyone as it was scheduled to be done by the Chief Minister Oommen Chandy who was kept off the programme. Agriculture Minister K P Mohanan, who was supposed to represent the government at the dais, was also conspicous by his absence.
