THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala informed the House on Thursday that DGP Jacob Thomas probed into the Pattoor land issue as per the Lokayukta’s directive. Referring to the demand by Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan that the Vigilance report in that regard should be tabled in the House, Chennithala said the Lokayukta had entrusted Jacob Thomas with the task of looking into the issue. Jacob Thomas did not carry out the probe as Vigilance ADGP.
The Opposition had raised the Pattoor land issue in the House on Wednesday. They demanded that the report by Jacob Thomas be tabled.
