SABARIMALA: A booklet on Sabarimala, an insight into the customs and practices of Lord Ayyappa temple here, details on the opening and closing of the temple in connection with the annual pilgrimage, the 10-day annual festival, Vishu festival, Onam celebrations and monthly poojas, published by The New Indian Express, was released at a ceremony at Pampa on Saturday.
Travancore Devaswom Board president Prayar Gopalakrishnan released the booklet by handing over a copy to Pampa police special officer Harisankar.
Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham general secretary Velayudhan Nair and ABASS Pampa camp officer P C Menon and Pampa devaswom administrative officer Sudheeshkumar were the chief guest at the ceremony.
General manager (Kerala) of Express Publications (Madurai) Ltd P Sureshkumar and deputy general manager Vishnukumar were present on the occasion.
