KOLLAM: Two among four teenagers who went to bathe in the sea off Shaktikulangara coast near here drowned on Tuesday, the police said.
One of them was still missing while the other was saved.
The dead were identified as Agin, 15, son of Immanuel and Nirmala of Kottuvathukkal house, and Antony, 13, son of Jose James and Mini Jose of Nedumthopil house, both from Shaktikulangara.Immanuel, son of Joseph Peter of Kannittaporuval, is missing, the police said.One of them who survived has been admitted to a private hospital.The teenagers were bathing in the sea near St John Britto church when the incident occurred.
The Coast Guard and Coastal Police personnel are searching for the missing. They are students of Infant Jesus school in Thangassery.
