THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:The government has decided to speed up land acquisition for National Highway development. Special consideration will be given to certain areas where religious establishments are located in case of unavoidable circumstances. A decision in this regard was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Minister on Wednesday.
It was decided to ensure more active role for land acquisition units and Competitive Authority of Land Acquisition.
