THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:Governor P Sathasivam has returned the government’s clarification on the appointment of PSC Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office citing that the file was still wanting in clarity on various points.
Cabinet had recommended the appointment of Saju George as new PSC Secretary. But PSC Chairman K S Radhakrishnan had objected to the appointment citing that Saju George’s appointment as section officer under special recruitment for Scheduled Tribes itself was improper as he had not submitted the caste certificate along with the application. He had also been accused of presenting a caste certificate claiming that he belonged to the Mala Araya Community converted Christian when his caste recorded in the SSC book was CSI Christian.
