KOZHIKODE:Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP) has urged veteran leader Achuthanandan to come and lead the Leftist people’s alternative before being expelled by the CPM. In a statement issued here on Thursday, RMP secretary N Venu and chairman T L Santhosh said, “Pinarayi Vijayan’s press meet on Thursday was akin to the image of a traitor who has destroyed the party after being in the secretary post for 16 years. In spite of insulting Achuthanandan, Pinarayi should have given an objective reply to the alternative suggested by the former.”
