Shaffi also attended the special dinner hosted by the Kenyan President as part of the Summit. He was one among the four entrepreneurs from India who were invited by the US President for the first Summit held in Washington DC.   At the summit, Shaffi presented his views on social entrepreneurship with focus on providing services to the poorer sections of society and on the ‘One Global Emergency Response Network’ that offers medical care to the needy. “Leaders and Entrepreneurs from Africa have welcomed the ‘MUrgency- One Global Emergency Response Network’ as Africa currently does not have any infrastructure for emergency response,” he said.

MUrgency was launched recently as a mobile application (app) to provide quick medical assistance across the globe. The San Francisco - based company aims at reaching out to people across India by January 2017, and those across the globe by January 2020.
