KOTTAYAM: Chinnu Maria Babu, a native of Kottayam, has been selected to participate in the international convention on ‘The Rights of Persons with Disabilities’ to be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, US.
Chinnu, the only Malayali among the five delegates from India, will present a paper on ‘The Role of Technology in Assisting Disabled Persons in Today’s World’ at the conference.
The 4-day convention, organised by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), will conclude on June 11.
