THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:Major General C P Singh has taken charge as Additional Director General NCC (Kerala and Lakshadweep),
Singh was commissioned with the Regiment of Artillery in 1979 and has experience in staff and command assignments in various terrain and sectors, a defence spokesperson said. He also has over 1000 hours of helicopter flying experience.
He was awarded Mention-in-Despatches by President for gallantry in Operation Pawan (Sri Lanka) and has written articles for army and civilian journals.
