KC(M) Berates George for Seeking Chandy's Removal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Congress (M) has come out strongly against the statement of dissident MLA P C George for demanding the removal of  Oommen Chandy as Chief Minister, and expressed wonder at his remarks on issues with which he has nothing to do in any capacity.

‘’A leadership change is not in the agenda of  the UDF. The advice given by George to the UDF to bring in a new choice as Chief Minister prompts one to ask ‘the physician to treat himself first,” asserted party state general secretary Joseph M Puthussery in a statement.

Joseph asked the former Government Chief Whip to explain what change has happened in the UDF after March to seek the removal of the Chief Minister.

“George was all praise for Oommen Chandy’s sharp intellect till then, which he himself had aired publicly. The only change after March was the ouster of  George from the Chief Whip’s post,’’ he said. ‘’It is clear that the disappointment caused by the loss of the post is guiding George,’’ he criticised.
