Admission Process Starts at KSID

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE) has opened the admission process for its new design institute, the Kerala State Institute of Design (KSID), with the release of its prospectus on Wednesday. Labour Minister Shibu Baby John handed over the first copy of the prospectus to National Institute of Design (NID)Bangalore vice-chairperson Susanth C S. Principal Secretary (Labour) Tom Jose,Employment and Training director A Shainamol and KASE Managing Director Rahul R were also present at the function. The institute located in Chandanathope, Kollam, aims to create highly skilled design professionals and also produce a ‘made in Kerala’ brand. After the release, Shibu Baby John said that the government aimed at converting the institute into one of the bestinstitutes in the country.
