'No Central Funds Lost'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Education Department has denied reports that the State Government is set to lose Central funds for the development of 374 minority educational institutions and 828 madrassas.

“The State Government has submitted proposals for improving the basic facilities of minority educational institutions and renovation of madrassas.

“This is under the consideration of the Union Ministry for Human Resource Development,”an official press note said.
