THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:The fourth anniversary celebrations of the UDF Government led by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister himself at the Senate Hall here at 4 p.m. on Monday.

Chandy would launch a string of welfare schemes during the occasion that would also be attended by the Cabinet Ministers and people’s representatives.

“A month-long programme would be launched to celebrate the completion of four years by the government at all districts in the state,” Rural Development Minister K C Joseph said.

He said that all of the government’s flagship programmes have been progressing satisfactorily and the government has been able to put forward its message of ‘Development and Care’ to the public.

Joseph also said that all advertisements of the anniversary celebrations would follow the Supreme Court’s order that government advertisements can only feature the pictures of the Prime Minister, the President and the Chief Justice of India.
