Artists to Get Akademi Aid to Hold Expos

KOCHI: The Kerala Lalithakala Akademi has decided to provide financial support to artists for conducting painting exhibitions.

Financial aid up to Rs 20,000 will be given for solo exhibitions, while up to Rs 40,000 will be given for group exhibitions.

Those who like to apply for the financial aid  should send ten photographs (dimension 8X6 inch) of their paintings, along with a detailed description of their career and achievements.

Those selected should conduct exhibition before February 28, 2016. The application form can be downloaded from website of the Akademi (www.lalithakala.org).
