Five of a family hacked to death in adilabad

ADILABAD: IN a murderous attack, two motorcycle-borne assailants stabbed five persons of a family to death and injured two others in broad daylight at Bhainsa town in the district on Tuesday.

Police said that a property dispute within the family had led to the gruesome murder. A woman and a child were among the five killed in the attack.

According to the police, the family of  Niyamathulla Khan, 55, a scrap dealer who lived in Jinabad Colony in Bhainsa Town, was hacked to death by Noorulla Khan and  Javeed Khan, sons of his brother. Niyamathulla Khan was living in the ancestral house of his family. He had five siblings and as he inherited the ancestral property, some members of the family bore a grudge against him.

Noorulla Khan and Javeed Khan barged into the shop of Niyamathulla Khan and sprinkled chilli powder in the eyes of Niyamatullah and his son Younus Khan, 45, before attacking them with swords.
